PSERS Continues to Operate for Our Members
Information for PSERS Members Regarding PSERS Operations Amid the COVID-19 Pandemic

Resources: Navigating with PSERS through COVID-19 | PSERS COVID-19 FAQ

The Public School Employees' Retirement System (PSERS) is open for business.  All PSERS offices are open for picking up or dropping off documents but staff will not conduct in-person counseling or presentations.  Members should call/email or mail/fax documents to avoid person to person contact when feasible.

PSERS investments, benefit processing and payment, and other day-to-day functions are back to business as normal.  With the exception of our call center and face to face presentations, much of PSERS' operations are business as usual with staff working from home. The call center is not operational at this time, but PSERS staff are responding promptly to thousands of emails and letters that are received on a weekly basis.

Retirement Counseling Sessions:   PSERS has transitioned from small, in-person group retirement exit counseling sessions to online sessions for members who are retiring. These counseling sessions will be conducted online until further notice. At this time, large group educational sessions will be cancelled. The presentation slides and overview of the large group educational sessions can be found on the PSERS website under "FFYF".

Conducting Account Transactions Online: You can conduct many transactions for yourself in your Member Self-Service (MSS) account. By updating your account information, such as your address, beneficiaries, and tax withholding, you can save time and the cost of printing and mailing.  This also allows PSERS staff to assist other PSERS members who have not yet registered for MSS. All forms except refund and disability applications are available in a member's MSS account or on the PSERS website.

You can find more information on PSERS' current operations in light of the COVID-19 pandemic on the PSERS website. If you have any questions or need assistance from PSERS, please contact us using our PSERS online contact form.

PSERS has been serving our members for over 100 years and will continue to serve you now and in the future. We thank you for your patience and understanding in these unique times.

Stay safe and be well.
