Voting Status

In an election of Board members, Certified and Non-Certified members may vote only for the representatives of the members' respective membership type.

Those job positions that would be classified as Certified are positions that require certification by the Pennsylvania Board of Education, such as teachers, supervising principals, principals, assistant principals, vice-principals, directors of vocational education, dental hygienists, school counselors, child nutrition program specialists, school librarians, school nurses, etc.

Non-Certified positions are those holding jobs that do not require certification by the Pennsylvania Board of Education.

If you are employed with multiple employers, the voting status is determined by the full-time position you hold.  If you hold multiple part-time positions, the voting status is determined by your most recent job position.
